BETTER NEWS EVERYONE!

I got a call from my printer's transport company yesterday and it is official: The Impure Blood Vol.3 hardcovers will be arriving this week!

Meaning I will probably be spending my Thanksgiving weekend packing books and binging Cowboy Bebop! 😆

But that's OK! I am so very excited to finally be able to get these books to you, and in time for the holidays! I know what I'm thankful for this week!

I'm also thankful for awesome creative friends like Chris Beck, who recently launched his very first Kickstarter, Rift Riders!

Chris and I go way back to our college days, and I'm so very excited to welcome him to the Kickstarter club! And he's already crushing it!

Rift Riders is a story about swashbuckling space pirates, cowboys, and ninjas caught in a wacky part of the galaxy called The Rift; an expanse of chaotic space where multiple universes collided. Captain Crow and her trusty first mate Julius Red-Hand attempt to con a couple of hapless crystal farmers over a game of cards, but plans quickly go awry when the crustacean pirates come looking for payback from a spoiled job botched by Captain Crow and her crew.

Good news, everyone!

 I got this email from my printer yesterday!

I know she says "semi-good news", but I'm just thrilled that Impure Blood Vol.3 is at long last on dry land! And that fulfillment may happen within the next few weeks! Now, obviously I can't promise that everyone will get their books in time for the holidays... but I'm really hoping that's how it shakes out. Believe me, nobody wants to get this campaign fulfilled and out into the world more than I do.

I'll continue to keep you posted on progress. I do want to thank everyone for their patience, for backing the campaign, for making this series possible, and really for not even complaining about anything! Seriously, I haven't heard a discouraging word from any one. Just goes to show that I have amazing backers. Thank you so much. Kickstarter has been a marvelous experience for me, and I can't wait to show you what I have coming up next!

Impure Blood, Vol.4 is half over!

Just wanted to give you a quick heads up that the Impure Blood, Vol.4 Kickstarter is half over! Or half done, depending on whether you're an optimist or a pessimist.

We're doing great, we've cleared the first stretch goal, and we've got about 55 hardcopies of Impure Blood going to ComicBooks For Kids!

The only thing that could possibly make it better is you. You have been an integral part of Impure Blood since I launched the campaign for Volume 1 waaaaayyy back in February of 2020. I could not have gotten this far without you, so I want to make sure that you have every opportunity to help bring it home.

 IMPURE BLOOD VOL.4 HAS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED!!!

And don't forget, If we can make our funding goal by noon tomorrow (October 17th), I will shave my beard into mutton chops and keep it that way for the entirety of the campaign.

OMG, you guys!

So I a poll about whether I should launch the Impure Blood Vol.4 Kickstarter, inspite of all the shipping delays, and the results were decisive to say the least!

So without further ado, I am pleased to announce that we are launching this weekend! Saturday is the official launch day! CLICK HERE to get notified as soon as we launch!

But that's not all! I wanted to come up with something fun and silly to celebrate the fourth and final Impure Blood, Kickstarter, and I think I got it.

That's right...!

If Impure Blood, Vol.4 funds within the first 24 hours, I will shave my beard into mutton chops and keep them that way for the rest of the Kickstarter campaign!

The things I do for my backers...

Plus, with all the videos I do and pictures I take while campaigning, the chops will definitely be preserved for posterity.
