So I do get to work on some other things while I’m on the campaign trail, so I thought I’d take a moment to share some of that with you.

In particular, here is the thing I’m most proud of:

The poster for TeslaCon 2021!

The theme for this year’s even is War of the Worlds. It’s in Madison, WI, and if you’ve never been to it before I highly recommend it. It’s kind of a one weekend pop-up steampunk Disney world, fully immersive, with a storyline an everything. It immediately became one of my favorite events and I’m thrilled to be doing the poster for the next one. It was originally supposed to be the poster for 2020 but, well... you know.

The Sketch-a-Day giveaway continues and Alice requested that I doodle Urbosa from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for her.

I really need to play this game. The character designs look so cool!

Lastly, can I just direct your attention to this little treasure?

Alright, it's time to stop messing around!

We've had some decent growth this past week, but I think we can do better. I believe in this project, I believe in it's audience and, most importantly I believe in you!

Ever onward to higher ground!

Still a ways to go before we make it to that next stretch goal, but I am excited to announce that I have yet another BONUS PRIZE for the lucky backer that pushes us over the $10,500 mark!

It's a great series, the Foglios are awesome and have been no small inspiration for me!

Stretch Goal Unlocked/ Caption This!

We did it!!

I'm thrilled to announce that, over the weekend, the Impure Blood, Vol.3 Kickstarter surpassed our first stretch goal!

That means that hardcopies of Impure Blood Vol.1 & 2 will be going out by June, while Vol.3 is still being printed!

This is great news for everyone new to the series! They'll have their books in hand and read just in time for Vol.3 to arrive! Perfect for that summer reading list!

Oh, but we're not done yet! I am determined to make this pot even sweeter! Our next Stretch Goal is on the horizon!

Now it's time for the fun and games portion of the Kickstarter! Presenting, the first ever Impure Blood Caption This Contest! But I'm going to do one better! for this one, you get to fill in character dialogue! For example, here's the original:

So lay it on me! Your dumb jokes, other peoples' dumb jokes, your wacky one liners, call a character out on their BS, whatever! You're in the drivers seat now! And lastly, if you like steampunk and paranormal investigators, you must absolutely check out Boston Metaphysical Society from Madeleine Holly-Rosing.

It's about an ex-Pinkerton detective, a spirit photographer, and a genius scientist who battle supernatural forces in late 1800’s Boston. They  live in an alternate steampunk history where ghosts and demons are a normal part of life. Families known as the Great Houses control the economy of the Great States of America while the middle class and lower classes sole purpose are to serve the Great Houses.

It's a great story, with plenty of real-world characters and events thrown in for grounding. Madeleine has been a great source of wisdom an inspiration to me personally in my crowdfunding journey, so I cannot recommend this enough!

Her latest Kickstarter ends in just 3 more days, so don't let this one slip you by!
